We all have a story.

Have you ever thought about the way you relate to others?

Do you desire more meaningful relationships and a better understanding of your story?

We believe we were created to experience meaningful connection and deep delight, but we live in a world that is marked by busyness and distraction. We’ve learned over time that our closest relationships can be unsatisfying at times, even if there is no big conflict.

Whether you have many friends or few friends, story-work groups will be a place for you to learn how to engage your story and have others engage your story in a meaningful way. We each have a unique style of relating to God, others, and ourselves, all of which we will explore during our time together.

Join us this fall…

  • Groups will consist of 8 people

  • Groups will last for 8 weeks beginning the week of September 18th

  • $100 per group session

  • Two group options:

    • Mondays | 4:00–5:30pm | Virtual

    • Tuesdays | 12:00–1:30pm | In-person

Engage your story.

What is a Story Group?

A story group will be a unique experience to answer the questions, “Who am I?” and “How do I relate to others?” We believe exploring stories from our past help us identify patterns that we still live in and keep us feeling stuck. These stories give us understanding in how we relate to others. Our groups will be an opportunity to experience healing and deeper connection.

Group Facilitators

Travis Hebert & Allison Bennett | Licensed Professional Counselor Dalas, TX | Hebert Counseling

MA, LPC-S, CSAT, EMDR trained

Travis began facilitating groups professionally in 2013 in the living room of a Dallas based sober living house. He participated in a year-long psychodrama cohort that focused on experiential group work; and recently received level 1 certification in narrative focused trauma therapy from the Allender Center. Through his own experience facilitating and participating in groups, Travis has experienced the healing power of the group process and wants to invite others to experience the same.

Travis and his team are top notch. I work at a church and often send struggling friends his way. And each friend has been cared for, lead well and pushed to health.

Travis is an excellent counselor. We made a connection immediately. He has an approachable manner and is naturally insightful. He has helped me see things about myself that other counselors did not. I would recommend him to anyone.

So glad Travis is offering counseling in Richardson! I’ve known Travis for years and have met many counselors, but he is one of the most personable and will get right into it, while respecting the pace that you want to go.
